My prime example is Risky.biz podcast. It's only ads are sponsored interviews. 100% ethical because they are very transparent that "Company Y" has paid for us to interview "Person" and the interviews are interesting so they aren't skipped.

The ad industry has normalized the mindset that we should expect to see ads in exchange for free content. Maybe we shouldn't just accept that. Obviously not everyone can always afford to tip, but it might happen more without ad culture.
