This is not something I would really want to post to Fedi generally, but I know a lot of you, especially in the trans community, knew my daughter, Nora.
I'm not saying this for condolences, because I can't even parse what happened right now, but last night, Nora took her own life. I found her this morning.
I don't have any details, but I know she had a whole group of friends who would want to know, who deserve to grieve. I may not be the best mother, but I love my daughter with every cell of my being, and I am heartbroken in ways I am not sure I can ever tell you. Nora was smart, funny, irreverant. And also in a lot of pain.
I don't know what to do now. But if you loved her too, I am sorry. She was the best thing in my life.
