Most people (non-shells <img src="https://forum.other.li/assets/plugins/nodebb-plugin-emoji/emoji/android/1f642.png?v=9aba40efd77" class="not-responsive emoji emoji-android emoji--slightly_smiling_face" style="height:23px;width:auto;vertical-align:middle" title=":)" alt="🙂" /> may find pearls beautiful and fascinating (whilst having little interest in the shell itself). I sometimes kinda enter a ‘shielded mode’ that tones down all the feelings if I have some overly intense income.
