I'm terrible at writing it now, but still very good at reading it, which is a relief, and anyway libraries are so cool and good and technology is (mostly) so cool and good and I'm very grateful for both.

Reply to I found out last year that the Library for the Blind gives out free braille displays to members, and since I've been a member for most of my life even though I haven't used their services in years, I reached out to ask for one and they sent it to me wi... on Mon, 20 Apr 2026 20:44:11 GMT

@greengaybles I'm really happy for you!

[[global:guest]]

Reply to I found out last year that the Library for the Blind gives out free braille displays to members, and since I've been a member for most of my life even though I haven't used their services in years, I reached out to ask for one and they sent it to me wi... on Mon, 20 Apr 2026 20:10:01 GMT

@greengaybles never thought about having a screen reader feeding a braille display.
