Hi uhhh. I see so many posts on here from fellow sighted people saying you should write like Charles Dickens in your alt text. What we think doesn't matter ultimately.
I think a lot about a blind user here who said this is the first social network where they felt included and could participate. That's who it's for, not some rando who wants you to hide Easter eggs in there.

It bothers me when people say they stop posting images because they don't want to alt text them, they become self obsessed while distilling what to say, etc. If you're posting an image, you know why you're posting it. That's your alt text. Is it a receipt for a donation? Is it a bird in your yard? Just complete the thought from your post. "Guess who I saw this morning!" (Caption: a cardinal with a sunflower seed in their beak.)
