Oh right, I forgot that ADHD can affect impulse control.
Without any good coping mechanisms for when I'm without meds, that might explain why I'm a little more impulsive than usual. 
ADHD is SO much more than what it has been portrayed as in popular media, and it can be like pulling teeth trying to get anything more than a questionnaire and a prescription out of a physician.
There's so much more that could be done to educate about and manage it, if only we were more aware, especially with how common it seems to be. -
