Die Schweizer Armee hat Palantir evaluiert und abgelehnt: zu undurchsichtig, nicht hinreichend überprüfbar, zu viele Risiken für Grundrechte und staatliche Souveränität. Ein vernichtendes Urteil – und ein seltenes Beispiel dafür, dass demokratische Kontrolle offenbar noch greifen kann.

Und was macht Palantir? Geht presserechtlich gegen die »Republik« vor, die das öffentlich gemacht hat. @adfichter recherchiert seit Jahren zu dem Konzern – und bekommt nun den Druck eines US-Daten- und Rüstungskonzerns zu spüren. Das wirkt wie eine Einschüchterungsklage (SLAPP) aus dem Lehrbuch.
