Does #Gnome work on their "background apps" menu to finally include all of 'em?

Does #Gnome work on their "background apps" menu to finally include all of 'em? It's kind of sad that downloading the "Tray Icons: Reloaded" Extension is quite literally mandatory for so long now to not have invisible, sometimes even inaccessible background programs running (e.g. Steam, Discord).

If Gnome wants to have this fancy menu (which, in general, is really nice!) it should also show any program using the classical system tray "backend", *including* their context menu options.
