This is so deeply embarrassing and shocking at the same time.

@briankrebs I'd guess Stephen Miller approved this as clever.

@briankrebs i knew they'd screw around with that aliens~gov domain like this too. pretty sure aliens~gov turned up before the "uap filez!!!1!" were released with no big surprises as a ufo nerd at least, a big downer and then to riff on Alienz Walking Among Us as "illegal immigrants"
ufo nerd:// while doing nothing about the breeding program and abduction phenomenon that has been happening for years to americans! /ufonerd

ps my trumphumper dad had "86/46" sticker on an f150 & nobody cared

i am half serious about the abduction phenomenon thing, i read the books john mack and david jacobs wrote on the subject and its chilling, i fully believe that something is happening to the people that experience this, not sure what is actually happening but what they say is extremely consistent and indicate that there is a large program of some sort involving reproductive health. i like weird and spooky things, but i know a couple of people that suspect or believe its happening to them.

@briankrebs Look. this is the same guy who portrayed himself as 007 yesterday and before that, as the Mandalorian.
-
@briankrebs they are such unimaginative fucks it was not difficult to see from 100 miles away

This is so deeply embarrassing and shocking at the same time. Navigate to whitehouse.gov/aliens/ and you will see a page that at first glance appears to tease unclassified information about aliens from outer space "walking among us." But as you scroll down it becomes apparent the White House is referring to immigrants in the US.
I realize the POTUS has said far worse in plenty of Executive Orders that are published on whitehouse.gov, but this is just disgusting to see.
@briankrebs they’re trying to force disassociate and create reality disorder among the general populace. Rage bait, disbelief, idiocy, racism, etc. it’s half stage performance and half just how these fuckers are. It’s designed to have people like me say something extreme about it and give them cause to say “you’re a terrorist now.”
-
@briankrebs The next message will be "Do your bit today ! Denounce an alien !"

@Netraven @briankrebs We've been desensitised for decades. While this is extremely distasteful, the left was completely on board with immigration enforcement prior to Trump. Both sides are insanely polarized right now. As a trauma and gang violence survivor, I can assure you the direction some of the people on the left are heading isn't any better. This puts as much of a bitter taste in my mouth as seeing liberals post videos cheering on the cartels. There's a balance between upholding the law and protecting our own rights and neither side seems to have that balance in sight.

@ZeroTrustWraith @briankrebs 4chan running the government.

@Netraven @briankrebs 4chan led to anonymous and then subsequently led to QAnon, which entirely reinforces my point that its 2 sides of the same coin.
@ZeroTrustWraith @briankrebs I have no epistemic authority to state anything definitively, but if I was a twisted psychopath that wanted to depopulate the US in preparation for liquidation of assets and silent transfer of control to foreign governments… this currently playing scenario is precisely what I would do. Which is, of course, not any proof of anything other than my own bias. The truth is I’m not a twisted psychopath and I actually can’t imagine how they think. Any statement I’m otherwise is just an attempt to assert false control in a chaotic world.

@briankrebs Weelll... Decades ago, when I was still traveling to the USA, I found it bizarre that at the Immigrations entrance of the airports, they had an entrance for "Aliens" (instead of "foreigners") - as if we were from Mars or something. So, not particularly new as far as I am concerned.
@bontchev @briankrebs don't get lost in the wordplay. That's the exploit.
The legal word with a Latin root carries one meaning. A person who holds citizenship somewhere, standing outside the boundary of that authority. It describes the relationship to authority and makes no claim about the kind of being a person is. "Alienus" meant belonging to another authority, and that was always a sovereign by law, never a species.
This flips to the twentieth century pulp magazine meaning, which is about the "nature" of something. It's the essence of being, an "other kind" or outsider. The meaning is known, it's loud and obnoxious, it's dehumanizing (Entmenschlichung) on purpose, using "humor" to inject the cruelty. The cruelty is the sorting itself, designated as something you can't change.
Nazi Germany did exactly this (Blutschutzgesetz and the Reichsbürgergesetz of September 1935) using a framework of blood as either "artverwandt", for kindred species, and "artfremd", for wrong species (literally alien).

@Netraven @briankrebs birthrates have been declining since the 50s. I am not sure what the agenda is, but that information alone is worrisome.

@briankrebs All white Americans are descendants of illegal immigrants. All are aliens.

@ZeroTrustWraith @briankrebs I’m sure after all the atrocity, whatever purpose life exists for will carry on as normally as ever.

For the last couple of minutes I‘ve been trying to find the correct words to express just how wrong this is. I can‘t. It‘s repulsive and utterly disturbing to say the least.

@pacman you must have missed the big red button that says "REPORT SUSPICIOUS ALIENS → ICE TIP LINE"

@briankrebs protect citizens from... what, exactly? They are here now for 60+ years. What earth-shattering cataclysm did they cause which no one else noticed?

Wonder if you've seen this? I've not read extensively on the subject, but am aware of he broad outlines. I thought this story provided a plausible explanation for at least some of it. In any case, it's a great movie!

The way it looks is this is a way for the POTUS to inject uncertainty and confusion into the voting process, which only helps his inevitable claims (when his side loses) that the election was rigged. You don't mandate these changes five months from a mid-term unless you're trying to introduce chaos into the system.

@briankrebs don't anyone dare tell me this "actually" isn't fascism.
