@Blender How about just don't? So few things are sacred anymore, the last thing blender needs is to associate with this crap. How about just not making really shitty decisions and finding a good moral ground? If a burglar ran by you after a robbery and offered you a wad of their spoils to look the other way how would you feel?

@Blender I have read both and I still don't understand why Blender is accepting financial dependence on a corporation that is actively destroying the open web with scraping, fueling the ongoing slop contribution denial of service attack against foss maintainers, is a major player in the industry that is actively harming digital artists, and numerous other harms; nor do I understand how you expect us not to be angry and heartbroken by this news. Perhaps you could explain it to us.

@Blender the foundation seriously thinks that makes it better? you're taking money from a company that would rather steal the work of millions for profit than prioritise your morals and ethics?
the only way that any of us would be happy again is that you revert this but even now the damage has already been dealt and is only getting worse and none of this going to be fixable in the slightest.

@Blender I don't usually throw my word around lightly, but as much as your fund policy states "Corporate donations don't imply alignment with their missions", this is a huge PR own-goal that will cost you a lot more in the long run.
I hope you reconsider your decision, because I personally (as an outsider) don't think it is worth it.
