True.
Though, IMHO, most of the jobs that can be done from home, which require wearing a suit or mainly consist in looking at papers and screens and pressing buttons are #bullshitJobs anyway.
Includes 90% (and definitely the best paid ones) of the jobs I have done in my life.
That said: I always enjoyed my train commutes to and from work. Quality time for having a coffee and reading.

@mina I never enjoyed commuting. As a kid, I had to take the bus to school. That bus ride was about an hour. Two lost hours per day.
When I gew up, I had to commute to the company for decades. Again, more than two lost hours per day. There is no such thing as enjoying a quiet train ride. It's a stressful bullshit tour.
The paper work, which isn’t paper work anymore, in my job is very little. I spend my 98% of my time on technical stuff. And yes, I could do all of it from home.

Als ich vor Urzeiten mal beim Staat gearbeitet hatte, meinte da einer: "Was du nicht aufgeschrieben hast ist nie passiert."
Ich vermute das ist was ähnliches mit Anwesenheitspflicht. Damit die Chefs "sehen" das du was "leistest".
