It kind of confirms my suspicions that not a single person at this Church of England school actually believes in God and every one of them is uncritically going through the motions.

The stubborn societal commitment to meaningless ritual is one of the reasons that I felt so isolated growing up. The neurotypicals are at it again, I guess.
