@hazelnoot the first one gets me giggling because making less purchases a week implies youd need then to buy more in one day. you know, to have food for those few days youre not gonna shop on.

also "realize you can be happy without money" - sure money may not buy you happiness (although i disagree, spending 60 credits on playing my favorite game in an arcade makes me happy a lot) - money sadly does buy you a roof over head, food and essential utilities. which are a must-have to be happy

@alice@mk.nyaa.place yeah great point! Like I would love to grow a vegetable garden, and I was actually really good at it as a kid. But back then I had parents to balance out the ADHD and remind me to tend them. Now? I'd just forget and they'd all die, and I'd feel awful about it forever.
