Say that you're talking about icecream and you go "I love vanilla icecream, it's my favorite" and then someone is like "what is wrong with chocolate? do you not like chocolate?" and you go "no, it's not like that i just prefer vanilla" and it continues going on

@markasspandi@fedi.fabrykajabo.li there's a variety of ways to sealion (some of it is not even like this) but at the end of the day it boils down to being subtle and using things that aren't easy to refute because there's nothing really to refute. they may state things like "vanilla is just overrated" and further get on your nerves that way.
