Media organizations may try to downplay the protests now sweeping the country. Posting protest pictures to public social media on algorithmless Mastodon can help cut through censorship.

Use hashtag #protest for discoverability.

Do not post identifying images that include faces or tattoos.

If you process images be sure to black out, and not blur.

Post screenshots of images to remove metadata
