The whole chapter - which claims to want to reestablish "European greatness" - is a right-wing anti-immigration fever dream full of white supremacist narratives about "birth rates" and the "decline of Western civilization",
which reframes neonazis and rightwing extremists like AfD, Le Pen into oppressed minorities and grifting autocrats like Orbán into defenders of true democracy. -

@txtx @adfichter one has nothing to do with the other. I can't go into details, now (father duties), but I recommend you absolutely research how faschists and xenophobes legitimize 'getting' spouses from other countries while dehumanizing immigrant and seasonal workers. Actually, I don't think I could explain it adequately, even if I had time to piece it together.

@exception @adfichter wer bleibt uns dann noch als Verbündeter? Das ist das furchteinflössende, schätze ich.
Es gibt eine gute Antwort auf die Frage, aber diese wollen die Mächtigen in Europa nicht hören, bzw. sie denken, dieser Zug sei schon längst abgefahren.
