Ah, i basically grew up with php and apache. The infamous LAMP Stack.
I still like all of these tools. They came a long way.
I do understand that Nextcloud can feel like legacy software and not be that exciting. The exciting part is Opensource gaining market share.
And it's basics (fileshare, calendar) do work well and stable when its configured and maintained well.
