i too am annoyed by people telling me to tie my shoelaces, but i do it anyways, without complaint. because i hate complaints, so i don't wanna add to them. and bam: instant peace of mind. that's what i get out of it.

@lritter @jwz It looks to me like jwz put up a strawman (some "HOA") to then beat it because he doesn't like to receive criticism regarding some specific topic, in this case alt text.

There really is nothing to gain from interacting with someone who's just here to throw a temper tantrum (the last few sentences of jwz's post is a big red flag). This applies to everyone, including jwz.
