The last #Windows computer running at home got shutdown before the new year. After moving my wife to #Fedora #Linux, I installed lutris to get EA games working, steam and some video codecs. She was able to install everything else she needed.
If you haven't used it recently, Linux is user friendly. Steam OS has shown that it is viable as a gaming platform. My wife didn't plan to switch to Linux. Microsoft has just made Windows more cumbersome to use over time until she finally had enough.
