Also fuck Netflix forever for putting DRM in browsers. None of this shit stopped piracy. But it did destroy privacy and build the surveillance state we live in now! Now that we have an authoritarian government to go with digital surveillance and control created "because copyright! Poor creators!" how the hell do you think that's going to get used? Digital rights are rights, and everyone just gave them away.

People have told me I shouldn't pirate things. I am often happy to pay for them, but I won't pay for shit drm to be imposed on me. I'm watching everyone panic over Amazon bullshit and saying 'see, that's what I've been saying.' I have fought to pay for things that aren't DRM'd. I spent a whole day once trying to figure out how to give Aloe Blacc money for an album!
