No.

@Infrogmation Each AD BLOCKER can be disabled only for selected sites.
-
@Infrogmation Often the ad links are how the people who made the content you're looking at get paid. Knock yourself out when it's giant media conglomerates, but smaller content creators are a different story.
Even then, the content creator is asking me to disable my Pi-Hole for everyone and every device in the house. I'm not going to do that.
-
Whenever I come across this, I always leave the site; the same action goes for articles where only half (or minus) the content is visible and the rest is hidden behind a paywall!
I said: Bye and not good bye…

@Infrogmation
Your website can't be displayed with an ad blocker -> your website IS an ad -> I'm out. -
@Infrogmation@mastodon.online opens the site in Internet archive
-
@Infrogmation Even more so when I'm not actually using an ad blocker.
-
@Infrogmation No! There's a reason adblockers were created you intrusive, spying f*cking m*r*ns.
Left the site to never come back. -
@Infrogmation Yeah, agreed. the whole reason I enable adblockers is to block trackers not the ads themselves.
Ublock origin doesn't just block ads nor do adblockers in general.
This is why i refuse and will go on another website for the same info.
@skedarwarrior @Infrogmation I use DuckDuckGo which blocks tracking and phishing as a matter of must.

-
@Infrogmation To bad for the site. There are enough other ones.

@Infrogmation "I simply won't view your shitty site, goodbye"
-
"Turn off your ad blocker" is always a good reason for me to close the tab.
Same with "Sign up for a free account here."

@Infrogmation@mastodon.online „Computer says NO“

@Infrogmation For the record, archive.ph does a great job of cutting through adblocker walls, paywalls, etc
-
@Infrogmation
I get this message when I have my ad blocker disabled already, like on ad-driven link-shortening sites. If they can't be bothered to actually check if it's disabled, why should I even try? -
@Infrogmation *sigh* Right click, inspect element, delete
@Oneironaut
Too bad this doesn't work on link shorteners. No download link for you.
