Taking the US Military Industrial Complex's blood money is reason enough to switch tools.
Giving corporate AI slop-peddlers influence over what features the devs are to prioritize doesn't give me faith in the tool's future either.

Taking resources away from bad organizations is a good thing. If the only thing the US MIC gets from Blender is "legitimacy", I'm fine with that. We can reassess if/when the US MIC's legitimacy is less universal.

Surely you people know as well as anyone that it is never 'just a donation' if comes from a company. You can't be that naive?In this case it smells a lot like Blender is being used to whitewash the image of Anthropic as an unethical stealing slop-machine.
